Things to do in Soho this week

Updated Thursday 15 October. 41 listings, checked this morning.

Soho is the West End’s late-night quarter: small theatres, comedy rooms, jazz clubs, record shops and a long-standing LGBTQ+ scene around Old Compton Street, with Chinatown just to the south.

It’s not the cheapest part of London, but there are free and cheap things on most nights if you know where to look: comedy previews, gallery openings, talks and screenings. This page covers Soho and the streets right around it.

Getting there

A lot of these are near Tottenham Court Road, Charing Cross, Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus and Holborn. Every listing shows its nearest station and the walk from it, and the event page works out your journey there and home from any postcode.

Tottenham Court Road has the Elizabeth line as well as the Central and Northern lines. Soho is small, so it’s often quicker to walk between stations than to change trains.

The main stations are Tottenham Court Road, Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square.
