Start from Twickenham Station. A mostly quiet backroads route via Shortwood Common to Staines where we cross the Thames to Egham and UP ( capitals intended ) to Englefield Green where we enjoy the view from the RAF memorial before entering Windsor Great Park at Bishopsgate. We cycle the scenic low traffic road to Blacknest Gate where a refreshment van and picnic tables give space for a snack…
